UPDATE! I have heard feedback on performance issues. My computer is quite old with RTX 2060, 16gb RAM and  Intel i5-9600kf CPU and runs smoothly. Please note that if you have lower specs, the game might be laggy.

I released an update version 1.2. on February 5th which should fix the issues. Please let me know if there are still performance issues.

This is my first game and hope you like it!
Please leave a comment and share you thoughts about the game!

For my second game I am hoping to use and learn more about textures, music, physics and 3d models.

List of all assets used in the game are listed in the "Credits" file.

I think it would have been good to let the anxiety of a "home invasion" build a little more before we woke up and jumped into the action.

Also I was unable to actually hit anyone with the bat and kept dying -due to the heavy lag that comes from trying to perform any actions. :(

I like the idea of a game where we need to save our friend's son, but it was a bit difficult to actually play.

Hey,

Thank you so much for the feedback and giving this game a chance!

The build up was actually something I was thinking but then I tried to do something different that gets the player off guard haha :D

I will try to make my next game more optimized as this has been a good learning experience. Still this has been the most difficult part in developing as the game runs fine when I play it, even with my 8 year old computer (In unity and downloaded) but then I see people experiencing poor performances.

Heyoo, thanks for sending over your game! I do apologize though for how late I am to it. Everything I noted, I did send back by email. :)

Hey thank you for playing this! I really enjoyed the video and had a couple of good laughs :D Also thank you for the feedback you send via email! It really means a lot to me and I hate to see that bug happening at the end...

For a first game, this is a solid effort. Janky, but you're getting there!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! And thank you for streaming this!

Great attempt for a first game. Keep grinding! Look forward to seeing more from you!

Thank you for playing and feedback! You are absolutely right that it's really cool seeing people play the game and hear feedback! I really appreciate you all!

The combat was difficult to make, as it is difficult to find balance between too easy and too difficult. This was something I was wondering if I should just leave out but I wanted to try this approach.

Also it's annoying that the ending cliched... When I play it, it works well. In the version 1.2. the enemies didn't start to chase the player and apparently in the version 1.3.  the enemies start to chase too quickly and it's impossible to escape... I tested the version 1.3. ten times and it worked perfectly every time...  This is something where I have to find the reason that causes this.

But again thank you for the for the comprehensive feedback as it will help me with my next game.

Keep making these videos!

I agree with others that the story and concept are really cool. However, the gameplay is still a little wonky. The attack speed feels too slow, and I can't seem to retreat quickly enough after attacking. If those two things can be fixed, I think you have something here. The game looks good, with a great, creepy atmosphere. For a first game, it's really awesome. I think you have something here.

Thank you for playing and the feedback! I really appreciate it!

I understand. The fact that you are able to make what you did is awesome. Game creation is just something I could never figure out.  I hope to see a lot from you in the future. Good Luck.!!

Honestly for the creators first game I had a pretty descent time playing it, it is a little wonky with controls and terrain, but it had an interesting story and overall was fun!

Thank you for playing! I really liked your video and thank you for the comments!

Like I said, overall the game was a lot of fun for a first time game being made. I look forward to seeing your next game and progress going forward!

This was quite an interesting game. Not bad for your first game. I don't know why but I had to stop my recording in order to finish the game. Overall this wasn't bad. I died like 5 times because I didn't know what I was doing with the bat in the beginning. I like the story and how the enemies were roaming around. This was decent. Thanks for hitting me up about the game. I can't wait to see what your next game is like. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for playing this! I enjoyed your video and please keep making these! The combat is something I will definitely fix for my next game.

Not a bad first game! Developing a game is very tough work, especially alone. It has some rough edges but it definitely is a good time. Nice job Dev!

Thank you for playing and giving this a chance! I learned a lot from making this game and the next game will be more refined!

For sure! Trust the process man

Amazing job for your first game i had fun playing. NGL THO i was grtting pieced up by ole girl lmao. Keep up the good work

Thank you so much for playing and giving this a chance!

Haha I was thinking that the enemies were too easy and boring when releasing this game and it's nice to see that I was wrong!

For being your first game this was pretty solid! Awesome story and plot. Encountered some strange bugs but apart from that the whole overall experience was solid. Made a video on it.

Thanks man! It was fun to watch you play and it means a lot that you gave this game a chance!

Some bugs are funny but it's annoying that the enemies didn't start to chase you in the end... This is something I need to fix plus couple of smaller bugs.

Awesome game! keep going bro :D

Thank you, it was fun watching you play!

I don't know what happened and the enemies didn't start to chase you at the end haha!

I can see why the ESC button can be confusing and this is something I might change

It was great to play as well! :)

I think I somehow glitched the last chase cutscene (maybe I moved my mouse wrong while falling?)

And I would highly recommend that!

This is a solid start for the developer. I actually had fun playing this game, and I encourage others to also give it a shot and give feedback where needed! To the developer, I would definitely make the text larger haha, but KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING!

RIP ADAM

Hey thank you for playing the game! While I had really fun watching you play, I am horrified of the load times, lag and bugs haha :D

Thank you for giving this a chance and I will try to make updates to fix the issues! Also more guides for the players to find the next location
